Research on the small film company.

 

In this post I will make a research about small film company, in this case Belstone  Pictures. 

It originally came up in 2015 with Finn Bruce in a role of producer and writer. Finn Bruce before starting Belstone pictures worked in many places. 

One of the places was Los Angeles, where he worked as an executive assistant.

Its headquarters are mainly in London but also in some parts of western Europe (Germany, Poland etc.). It's been running now for almost 5 years.

It is a part of the FCB Productions family. This production is also owned by Finn Bruce. 

That is the slogan of the FCB Productions.

Top   Belstone's production biggest box office successes:

1) 'Tucked" 2019, drama. Director and the writer was Jamie Patterson. 

The box office was $ 23,086 

2) "Tank 432" 2015, action, horror, mystery. Director and the writer was Nick Gillespie.

3) "Moving tracks" 2018, comedy. Director : Jamie Patterson. Writers: Finn Bruce and Jamie Patterson.

                               Unfortunately in the last year(2019) there was no new film productions and in 2018 there was only one, already named film.

                                                                                              

However, as I made my research I've noticed that this production tend to work with a fairly similar writers and directors. Such as: Jammie Patterson

 that wrote and directed "Tucked" 2019 and "Making Tracks" 2018.  In terms of actors Belstone pictures tend to work more often with new actors, who have a little experience.

Currently in pre-production and development the Belstone pictures have 8 films, they have different genres such as: Behind the scenes documentary; historical drama; romantic drama; black comedy; inspirational biopic; documentary; musical comedy and crime drama. Looking at this list of genres I can assume that the Belstone pictures are now starting to experiment with its repertoire.

And in post production there is only one action comedy movie  "Paul Dood's Deadly Lunchbreak"directed and written by Nick Gillespie.

Concluding, I would like to say, that in my opinion the biggest advantage of the small institution is that it does not have any reputation to spoil, so it can make any sort of movies and most importantly it can experiment with the style, genres etc.
