Production can be broken up into three ways in which film is produced.
- The first one -- pre-production, this stage consists of planning, scriptwriting.
- The second is the production. A time when the film been shot
- Third and the last is post-production. It is mainly a time for editing.
Production is one of the most important areas of film making. It is all because it is a time when the film is actually made. So, the product is being as a part of this film making area.
When you are involved in production you can do many things, such as (in no particular order) :
- editing
- directing
- scriptwriting
- costume designer
- sound specialist
- lighting director
- location manager
- hair and makeup specialist
